It was a perfect evening for a song contest: Vikings versus Samurais. The time had come for Campai and karaoke at Yamagoya Bar in Tokyo. In the lively Shinjuku region in Tokyo, little bit east for the Isetan department store, we found a karaoke bar called Yamagoya. We entered the place, walked down some narrow stairs, and ended up in a big room, which looked like an old wooden ship. That was the place where it really took off!
