Christmas Story, Joulutarina, Finland - Story of how Santa Claus came to be Santa

2012-12-16

Christmas Story is a film for the entire family. It tells the touching story of how Santa Claus came to be Santa.

Did you ever come to think that Santa Claus, too, was once a child? If not, now is the time. This fascinating story gives you real insight in Santa Claus` life: how it started and how he lives.

The movie is a 2007 Finnish film directed by Juha Wuolijoki. It called Joulutarina in Finnish. It is the story of how an orphan called Nikolas became Santa Claus. The Finnish premiere was on 16 November 2007, and became the most successful Finnish film of the year 2007. It was largely shot on location in Utsjoki. Utsjoki is a municipality located in Lapland, Finland, and borders Norway as well as the municipality of Inari.

It's unlike other Christmas films I have seen. It's full of unexpected and emotional scenes. It will bring tears to your eyes, both in sadness and happiness. First and foremost the film is going to warm your heart. Actually it`s more than a story about Christmas. The film expresses hope, courage, love, passion and spreading of happiness in other people`s life.

Watch the film and be convinced: the genuine Santa Claus is living in Finland.
