The strong sunshine illuminated the pure white snow. On his tour Lars could experience a snow white Eldorado in the middle of November 2012 with best conditions for cross country skiing. He describes the perfect groomed trails for “tram traces” (“trikkespor” in Norwegian).

You find Skeikampen 3 hours drive from Oslo, and 40 minutes from the Olympic city Lillehammer (The Winter Olympic 1994). The trail network on Skeikampen lies between the mountains and forests, providing various terrain. Here Lars was skiing about 800 - 1100 meters above sea level! There are 200 km of separate trails, and in addition it is associated with the trail network of Peer Gynt Skiregion and Kvitfjell. Together there are almost 600 km of prepared trails. These trails are well marked with their own colour codes on the map of the trail network.

Lars likes long skiing tours. Inspired by the beautiful nature, he gets energy to walk the extra mile, and he really believes that the benefits of sunshine, fresh air and challenging terrain keep him continuously in motion and in top shape.
