Santa Claus in Rovaniemi, Finland, caused huge chaotic in the air traffic 2005!

Eager tourists who would like to visit Santa Claus! The Santa Claus Air Plains to Rovaniemi, Lapland, in Soumi - Finland, has become a big business. Norwegian media report about heavy traffic in the air across Norway. 90 % of the tourists who across Norway on their way to Rovaniemi are British.

The Air traffic controllers in Norway need to cope with an increasing number of flights in November and December to Finland. A Christmas exhibition is also set up in the Santa Claus' village. It will attract even more tourists. The opening takes place 26th November 2005 in Rovaniemi, Lapland. The Christmas Exhibition display Finnish and international Christmas traditions.

This Santa Claus air traffic growth can cause delays in the air traffic. Each year 400,000 tourists visit Rovaniemi.  

Rovaniemi is located near the Arctic Circle. According to the Finnish People - the Fins, Rovaniemi is Santa Claus' hometown. They call Santa for Joulupukki.

Santa Claus is the world best traveller, master of languages and logistics. The Finnish people claim that he lives on the top of the Korvatunturi Mountain in Lapland in northern Finland, but is this true? Or could he be from Norway? In Norway they call him Nissen or Julenissen. Perhaps Santa comes from another place no one know about?
