UNESCO - New inscribed properties 2011 on the World Heritage List!

So far in 2011 there has been 25 new inscriptions on UNESCOs World Heritage List: Cultural sites: 21, Natural sites: 3, Mixed sites:1, Extensions: 1.
The following cultural properties have been added to UNESCOs World Heritage List:
  • Ancient Villages of Northern Syria
  • Archaeological Sites of the Island of Meroe
  • Citadel of the Ho Dynasty
  • Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia
  • Cultural Landscape of the Serra de Tramuntana
  • Cultural Sites of Al Ain (Hafit, Hili, Bidaa Bint Saud and Oases Areas)
  • Fagus Factory in Alfeld
  • Fort Jesus, Mombasa
  • Hiraizumi – Temples, Gardens and Archaeological Sites Representing the Buddhist Pure Land
  • Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison
  • Konso Cultural Landscape
  • León Cathedral
  • Longobards in Italy. Places of the power (568-774 A.D.)
  • Petroglyphic Complexes of the Mongolian Altai
  • Prehistoric Pile dwellings around the Alps
  • Residence of Bukovinian and Dalmatian Metropolitans
  • Saloum Delta
  • Selimiye Mosque and its Social Complex
  • The Causses and the Cévennes, Mediterranean agro-pastoral Cultural Landscape
  • The Persian Garden
  • West Lake Cultural Landscape of Hangzhou
  • Kenya Lake System in the Great Rift Valley
  • Ningaloo Coast
  • Ogasawara Islands
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area
  • Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians and the Ancient Beech Forests of Germany
