Mt. Everest - Tommy Rambøl became the 24th Norwegian on the top!

Tommy Rambøl (42), Rambol, from Norway reached the top of Mt. Everest 21nd May 2009. He is now safe back in the Base Camp on 5400 metres above the ocean. The two other Norwegians, Thomas Svane Jacobsen and Asbjørn Hjertenes, in the Himex expedition didn`t made it to the top.

Himalayan Experience offers guided mountaineering and trekking expeditions to Everest, Manaslu and Lobuche Peak. The tour operator is directed by Russell Brice, who has been leading expeditions to the Himalayas since 1974. He has led clients to the summit of Everest and Manaslu, and also Cho Oyo (8,201m), Himal Chuli (7,540m), Shishapangma (8,046m) and Ama Dablam (6,856m). Website: www.himex.com

One Norwegian is missing in an another expedition previous week on Mt. Everest.

According to Explorersweb,two other climbers have been lost  the last week too; one on Everest north side and one on Manaslu.
