Mossesundet, strait of Moss, Norway - Late sunset!

2011-09-24
In the evening on Friday 23th September 2011, I and my friends from Finland admired the beautiful sunset over Mossesundet, Moss, in the Oslo fjord, in Norway. The sky over the island Jeløy, was painted by red and yellow colours, and it gave a big contrast to the dark on the other side of the strait where we stood.

Mossesundet is a part of the Oslo fjord in Norway, Europe. Mossesundet is also known as Moss Sund, Mossesund, strait of Moss. Boat drivers, who approach the town of Moss, coming from north, will experience a long, narrow, mountainous coast. It`s characterised by steep and tall wooden hills. At the other side of Mossesundet, we could observe Jeløy, Jeløya, where the sun dissapeared.
