the Yeti hiding in Himalaya?

So far there
has been quite from the Japanese Yeti hunting expedition. Perhaps they want
to keep things secret unless they achieve fully success on that. The expedition
is led by alpinist Yoshiteru Takahashi, 60, who now search for the Yeti
around Dhaulagiri mountain in Nepal, the seventh highest peak in the world.
Some call it the
Abominable Snowman, some call it a myth, but
these Japanese adventurers say the truth is out there.
There was news in the newspapers when the Japanese team arrived in
Kathmandu for few weeks ago. After they went to the Dhaulagiri
area there has been no further information about the expedition.
Despite so many people have visited the area through years, there has been no
final evidence for the Yeti. It`s still one unsolved mystery in this area
known as the "roof of the world."
With few routes left unexplored 50 years after Everest was conquered, adventurers
still believe they can find the Yeti, the legendary Abominable Snowman.
The Mystery of the Abominable Snowman
According to VisitNepal.com, adventurous
people have witnessed the existence of the Yeti, the abominable snowman, with a
thick, hairy body the size of a large gorilla. The Yeti's hands and feet consist
of four fingers each.
About a dozen people have claimed
to have seen the Yeti. Among those include the father of the world famous Sherpa,
Tenzing, the first person to climb Everest. As Tenzing`s father, most of the them who saw
the Yeti become sick and died a few days afterwards.
The Yeti is said to make random appearances around the
Khumbu region (at foothills of the Everest.) Still doubted for its existence by
those who have not seen it. The Yeti is known to eat Yaks, sheep, etc. Many
people feel, however, the Yeti of the Nepali Himalayas, to be a peaceful
creature.
In Tibet it`s known as metohkangmi, meaning filthy snowman. Sources
close to VisitNepal.com have been told that the Yeti is the protector of the
doors to Shambala. Could that explain why most who come in contact with this
creature soon leave their body?
