International Photography Contest 2009 by National Geographic!

National Geographic encourage people to send in their best photos in three categories: People, Places, and Nature. In the photo contest participants have a chance to win a digital camera kit and get their images printed in National Geographic magazine.

Photos will be judged on creativity and photographic quality. Winners will be entered into the Worldwide International Photography Contest.

You can submit up to six photos between now and 31 October in 2009. Winners will be announced in early December.

There is an entry fee of U.S. $12 for each photo. See FAQ and Rules for more information on National Geographic`s website.

It`s also possible to watch hundreds of photos from earlier years photo contests.
