The new excavation at Stonehenge was conducted from 31st March to 11th April 2008. It`s based on the Norwegian Petter Amundsen’s discovery of ciphers in literature, mainly in the first edition of Shakespeare’s collected works, also known as the First Folio (FF), which was published in 1623. The documentary is by internationally acclaimed Jørgen Friberg - Jorgen Friberg. By cracking codes in books Petter points out the place where Shakespeare`s original manuscripts are believed to be hidden.

In the sunset at mountain region Kvamsfjellet there were beautiful shining snow peaks all around. Especially the high mountain range Rondane was strongly illuminated in the sunset, and the colours were shifting. It created a fairytale atmosphere in the Easter. For Norwegians the Easter means snow, sun and fun!

From the Davincy code to the Shakespeare code. The Oak Island`s Money Pit, Halifax in Canada, is the site of the world's longest running hunt for lost treasure. The two Norwegian authors, Petter Amundsen and Erlend Loe, of the book Organisten, claim to have proved that William Shakespeare stands behind the big mystery. Their theory is that Shakespeare represented a group of scientists and poemers, and that they buried some of Shakespeare’s manuscripts underground on Oak Island because that they were controversial at that time.

For around 20 – 30 years ago, maybe longer, treasure hunters realized that the mysterious constructions at Oak Island were intelligent made. Now it’s believed that the Money Pit is a small piece in a big puzzle, and that the whole Oak Island is full of hidden constructions. They are all constructed based on an advanced code system that needs to be solved. If the Norwegian organ player Petter Amundsen has right about the Shakespeare Code, then the world history has to be rewritten.

The Cathedral at Katedros Sq 1 in Vilnius is one of the absolute highlights. I stepped in first and foremost for exploring the catacombs, but it was also interesting to experience a ceremony on a Sunday. The first Christian church is thought to have been built in 1251 in the place of a pagan temple to commemorate the baptism of Mindaugas, King of Lithuania. Later the Cathedral has been rebuilt several times.

The Old Town is the historical centre and still the heart of the capital Vilnius in Lithuania. It displays a variety of architectural expression and historical events. By wandering along the narrow winding streets and squares of the Old Town, I really felt the spirit in this part of Vilnius. Both in the day and night the life in the Old Town is quite busy, and people have a real good time there.
